Artist Spotlight :
At H. Shields ART, we believe everyone deserves a chance to shine. Our artist spotlight is dedicated to highlighting the work of up-and-coming artists, providing them with the exposure and support they need to succeed. We strive for a community of collaboration and support, not competition. No matter where you are in your artistic journey, we welcome you with open arms.
Kelsie Marie
H Shields Art is dedicated to bringing the world of art to life, and we're thrilled to have Kelsie Marie as our featured artist. Her work in "The Mind of the Lotus Eater" reflects the highs and lows of human emotion, weaving together strands of whimsy and depth in a way that's unique and inspiring. Whether you're looking for a pick-me-up or need a piece of art that speaks to the deepest parts of your soul, Kelsie Marie invites you to join her in exploring the world of watercolor art. Kelsie is 29 years old and self-taught. Painting gave her hope and a way to deal with her health taking a turn. This is admirable, as her goal is to make people feel less alone through expressing her own personal struggle's through art. I highly recommend checking out their frog art!
Chris E. Slater
Welcome to H. Shields ART Artist Spotlight, where we celebrate art in all its forms. We are proud to spotlight an amazing artist from Milwaukee, Geeko Art, who is a master of Mixed-Media work. Their brand is still in the developmental phases, which means they are constantly creating and exploring new mediums and products to offer their customers. From original artwork to merch items, they offer something for everyone. If they are not creating works of art they are likely performing as "Dark Heart" their Haunt clown blockhead character. You can even occasionally find them performing as a sweet elf named Piper in the winter months. Their creativity knows no bounds. Contact them today to learn more about their work or to commission a piece of your own!

Maia Gabrielle
Maia is a self-taught western Montana artist. They have very minimal formal schooling/training for art however. their maternal grandmother was their primary inspiration and facilitator. When it comes to UmamiMami Creations, they are the creator, manager, shipper, communications and networking "specialist". Maia wears many hats. It is all just Maia! With that being said- they sometimes need extra time to get things made, together and shipped out to you. If you have an exact date for a holiday/occasion, please write a note or send them a DM so they can get you your order on time. Thank you so very much for taking the time to browse their site, & for all of your support! You make it so Maia can continue to chase their life long dream of being a bad ass, self employed artist!
Emma Love
Emma is a mixed media artist from Phoenix!
She loves to experiment with and combine various mediums and styles.
She finds inspiration in many things. Emma wants her art to be a reflection of how she see's the world. Life is short. Her hope is always to share her lens with the world and encourage others to embrace their creativity in the process. She is a firm believer that we are all artists. Some of her biggest inspirations are…
nature/animals, fantasy art, portraiture, art nouveau, geometry, “dark” art, and surrealism.
You can visit her website for original artwork, prints, and clothing/merch here:
Her latest art venture has been surface design (seamless patterns).
Join E. Love Seamless and PNG if you’d like to stay updated on her designs!
Sarah Sweeney
Sarah Sweeney creates artwork rooted in a deep love for nature and she hopes you find something that sparks joy for you in her shop. She picked up a pencil sometime in her infancy I would imagine- and from there it was history. Since then she has drawn, painted, and participated in any form of art she could get her little mits on. Sarah is a mother of a beautiful boy, and she has a lust for adventure and travel. She is always examining this thing we call life. What you see here is the result of that examination.
A big thank you to all her supporters, now, then, and in the future. You all make it possible for her to carry on and continue to grow as an artist. And for that she is forever grateful.
